Tucked away in idyllic surroundings, in July 2000, it
was converted into a heritage hotel. It is situated on
an elephant back shaped hill. The hotel, has 10 rooms of
different categories with all modern amenities. It also
organises camel and jeep safaris in the shady plains
doted with mango Orchards. The fort sits on
two-billion-year-old sequence of quartzite (hard rock)
and schist (soft rock) that were originally deposited in
a shallow marine sea as layered muds and sands.
